īeautiful views of Dubai in a semi circular viewing point. The gift shop is again not bad in price, you can also buy a drink. You hear the noise of glass cracking, it is loud, but not really anything special. It does get very busy after 5pm, so the earlier you go the better, well it was for us, as we had the full viewing, and didnt have to try and get our photos with out disturbing others.ġ25, is a small flight of stairs up, no lift, this is where you can experience the On arrival 124, the view is spectacular, you see Dubai in a different way. Walking through to the lifts that take you to 124/ 125, you see the history of the Burj Khalifa, from ground up, take your time to view all of the history, its amazing.Īt the lifts you que for a short time, for us it was about 6 mins, from ground to 124 it took aprrox 1 min! absolutely amazing, the lift goes dark, then you see special lighting, and graphics, your ears will pop. You are expected to go through all security checks before going to the lifts, this can take some time, so allow enough time. We didnt have to que for long, there was only about 10 people in front of us, so we proceeded through to security, they check your bags etc, do not take items like lighters, vapes, anything that may cause concern, you have to leave your items in the '' luggage store' at the front of the ticket office, they give you a tag with a number on, and they secure your items until you come back. We found a beautiful little gift store, had a good look around and decided to purchase our little gifts when we came down from the Tower. We were very lucky, as we got there at 3.45pm, we got our tickets, and found that we couldnt actually go in until 5pm, but that was ok, as we wanted to explore the Mall itself. On arrival, we were told to go to the ticket office, this is on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall, they have a que system, much like an airport, so be prepared for long ques. We booked this via our hotel and we were so glad we did. But, I read some had to show their passport as a proof. We were not asked to show any proof when showing the online ticket. Have enough charge in your camera / mobile to capture every moment. So, you settle in a place where you can see the sun rise properly. In the December the sun rose at the right half of the viewing deck. General sunrise view is permitted at the level 124 only. It is worth getting up early and waiting for the sun to rise. You need to walk a bit to reach there from the entrance. From there you can take a lift to go down to the 'At the Top' ticket counter. There is only one entry at the level 7 Fashion Avenue car parking at the Dubai mall (Ask the cab driver to take you to this gate of the mall, not to the Burj Khalfa). Reaching Burj Khalifa ticket counter in the early morning is lot confusing if you have no idea how to go there. The sunrise costs AED 149 with light breakfast (croissant and juice/coffee at the ground floor cafe). AED 370 for the level 148 (you can view 124 and 125 also). It costs from AED 149 to AED 224 for adults depending upon the timing for 124 and 125 level. The sunset has advantage with the Dubai Fountain view from the top, but is lot crowded. Daytime view is not as great as the above two. We went to the sunrise as we had other plans in the evening. You have two options to view the amazing beauty - Sunrise or Sunset.
